Bridget purchased Fabric Finder's T-30 Blues tri-color from her favorite local heirloom shop, Elegant Stitches (Cary, NC)- and also had it pleated by our friends at ES..but Bridget put on the finishing touches, as only she is known to do!! It is nice to have some transition outfits in the closet that can go from warm days to cold days too. Bonnie Blue's McKenna top and Jillian pants are great easy to wear patterns. Add a little "bling" and your little one is sure to smile. Fabric Finders's new floral pique was a great inspiration to use the new spagetti tubing to make matching daisies. You will need to cut 12 3" strips for each flower. Fold into a loop and sew them down. I sewed directly onto the banding, but you can sew them onto a little circle of fabric or square of ribbon to make it more washing machine friendly. The pants are bright pink twill with an added ribbon cuff. I doubled the ribbon so that the black and white check piping would not show through. This is a great place to use the wash away tape to hold everything into place. The lower band around the top is white Swiss cotton baby wale pique." Click for close-up view For Display Only
Bridget Anderson's "Ginger Blossom" Corduroy Top & Pants Add to Design Board Sku #: Gall/BA-Ginger Bridget says, "I love sewing with all the beautiful featherwale corduroys in the fall/winter. When these fun Michael Miller printed corduroys came in, I knew I had to use them. The fabrics speak for themselves, so they don't need a ton of details to make a cute outfit. Top is Children's Corner "Mary De" opening in the front & shortened to "top length". I removed some of the fullness from the skirt. The coordinating cotton stripe by Michael Miller is used to make a chunky tie and ruffle. The size of the ties are 10" by 2". The underneath tie is made from small pieces of spaghetti bias. I used Blue Jay corduroy for the matching Bonnie Blue Jillian pants. I cut the strip for the ruffle 4" and then folded it in half." Click for close-up view For Display Only

Add to Design Board Sku #: Gall/BA-Ladybug Click here, also, for more photos Bridget says, "Using Lezette's adaptation from her book, 'Ideas from Children's Corner', I curved the bottom of Children's Corner "Lillian". Instead of making a fabric ruffle, I used the adorable red polka dot rick rack ribbon to form the two layer ruffle. Red polka dot piping is a wonderful match to the ribbon and gives the outfit a special touch. Red and white plastic buttons were layered on the back so she will be just as cute from behind. The triple casing on the skirt is an example of this. I used elastic in two of the casings and then added white spaghetti trim in the middle casing. The light and airy swing tunic is made from Old Fashioned Dotted Swiss (poly-cotton). I lined it with Imperial batiste and added sweet pink mother of pearl buttons." Bridget says, "Your little one will want to twirl, twirl, twirl in this pretty sundress by Bonnie Blue. Fabric Finder's fresh floral is adorned with sweet little flowers and cherries. It pairs perfectly with a pretty blue gingham. The pretty bow in the back makes them just as cute going as they are coming. Pre-cut bias strips makes finishing the armholes super easy!! There are so many different ways to make this pattern. My favorite part is the back. Oh my, it is so cute on!! This fun floral by Fabric Finders really gives me spring fever. I love the fun bright colors. I lined the top in orange pima gingham and piped it orange broadcloth. I also added orange rick rack in the princess seams. The pattern comes with cute capris/shorts, but I wanted a cuff to pull in the orange again. I used Jackie Clark's Britches and Bloomers and shortened them to capri length. The aqua twill is a wonderful match to this fun floral. If you are more of a pink person, there is a cute pink colorway of this floral as well." Click for close-up view For Display Only

I omitted the waist band for a casual, breezy look. Lavender Swiss wale pique was the perfect match for the cute side vent skirt. Bridget says, "Oliver + S's Playdate dress is a modern, but classic look. I used Fabric Finder's beautiful brown and cream floral for the body of the dress. I added a Robert Kaufman polka dot for the accents on the yoke made from rice imperial batiste.
