"Well-Behaved Women Seldom Make History" is a block of the month club about women who changed the course of United States History. Each month, you will receive all the fabric you need to construct two 12" blocks--one pieced and one embroidered. You'll also study the lives of influential American Women who, although they may not have been seen as well behaved during their day, continue to influence the lives of women today. Frances E. Willard, Susan B. Anthony and Sarah Hale are among the women presented with a history of their work and drawing for redwork embroidery. Easy to make, you'll enjoy sewing and learning about women's history. Block Kits use batik fabrics. A one time Start Up Fee of $10.00 is charged at sign up. Price is $19.99 per month for 13 months, which includes shipping and handling (U.S. only; actual rate for Canada/Overseas). A Finishing Kit for the pieced blocks is also included.
