New Page 1
Author Jeanne Poore and other past and present members of the Kansas Quilters
Organization board — they call themselves "Golden Oldies" — pooled
their talents to create new and original quilts using classic patterns that
evoke the colorful, often turbulent, history of Kansas.
Rotary-cut designs interpret the stars of the state flag, windmills from
prairie farms, tornadoes, pioneer trails, dugouts and courthouses, flowers,
trees and crops, among other images.
Includes patterns for 15 blocks in 6- and 12-inch sizes, setting instructions
for large and small quilts, additional projects and tips for fabric selection.
Softcover, 94 pages, measures 9 x 11 inches.
