THANGLES are paper strips, printed with stitching and cutting lines for making HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES..
Thangles come out of the package the correct size. No trimming necessary. 

Thangles are the fast, easy and accurate way to make HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES from STRIPS!  No more 7/8" math!  Just add 1/2" (two 1/4" seam allowances) to your desired finished unit size and cut strips!  i.e. Need 2" HSTs (Half Square Triangles)?  Just cut 2 1/2" strips, layer two fabrics, right sides together.  Pin Thangles paper on top.  Stitch on the broken lines.  Cut on the solid lines.  Press open.  Remove paper and you are done!

Bonus!  The same size strips  are also used to cut the squares and rectangles to go with the HSTs.  One strip size blocks are easier to calculate and cut.

The PAPER THANGLES stabilize the fabric while stitching and pressing, eliminating distortion, improving accuracy. 

Each pack contains THANGLES templates made with easy tear paper and fully illustrated step by step instructions.  Available in 15 sizes from 1/2" to 6".
