Charlotte’s Sew Natural - Points & Stairs - 2 Block Quilt Pattern
Click here to see a sampler quilt using alternate blocks.
Price: $10.00

A two-block quilt or setting solution for sampler blocks, cutting instructions are given for 3 sizes of blocks.

Instructions to cut and sew 9", 12" and 15" finished blocks are all included for each block.

The quilt's edge is finished with Prairie Points.

The pattern includes instructions and tips for quickly and accurately making these blocks. The "Points" block or "Cock's Comb" has four shaded four-patch units that meet in the center. The pattern includes instructions for making these units without ever sewing triangles together - no bias edges!

Also included are instructions for making the continuous Prairie Points for outside edge from strips.

The quilt pictured on the cover uses 12 "Points" and 13 "Stairs" blocks. When either of the blocks are used as an alternate block with a solid fabric or even a variety of sampler blocks, a strong secondary pattern can emerge.  This can really be affected by fabric's value and color.

A fun pattern to play with!
