Stitching Society

If working with flannel, wool and cotton, perfecting various embroidery stitches, a different small project each month and ending up with a beautiful hexagon quilt is in your dreams, come join us at Stitching Society. We will meet on the first Thursday of the month, beginning September 3 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon OR from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening of that day. We will be working with wool appliqué, (this is optional, flannels or cotton can be substituted) then once the appliqué is stitched on we will embellish the blocks with embroidery stitches, beads and glitz. The finished appliqué blocks are hexagon shaped and will be used to make a quilt. Each month there will be an additional small project - club members will receive the patterns for all of the small projects but may choose not to make them all. Kits and embellishments will be available for purchase. The membership cost is $170 which includes a year's worth of stitching fun.

We will need to order membership packets BEFORE the first meeting, so it will be necessary to sign up as soon as possible. You can sign up online, in person or by phone.
