Dawn McLeod loves to sit at her desk and make babies. Babies out of clay that is!
In July of 2007 her talents were discovered by the Ashton-Drake Galleries through her OOAK (one of a kind) baby doll listings on ebay.
Dawn has also had one of her earlier sculpts featured in the March 08’ issue of Contemporary Doll Collector magazine & is the feature artist in "How to Sculpt a 6" Baby Doll".
Now she is willing to share her passion with you!
We will be sculpting a 5" Poseable Awake Baby in this course. This is an all inclusive course...Dawn will have accessories available to purchase.

Shelley Marie Doupe has been teaching here at our studio for many years. She also teaches at an artist guild and at some international shows, and is one of only ten in Canada certified by Genesis (the brand of paint we use for our dolls). Believe me you get a great bang for your dollar when Shelley teaches. She can cover many tips and tricks within a day....all with ease and calm! We run a regular "work bee" approximately once a month for doll making!
