| Danielle Zweers born in Amsterdam 19th August 1960.
She comes from a long line of Artists specializing in oil paintings.
Danielle was raised in a world of paint brushes, linen and picture frames.
She guesses it was just in her cards that Art would be her career. Danielle sculpted her first doll in 1977 of air-drying clay and was hooked ever since. In 2002 she began sculpting life size babies of polymer clay. She is a self-taught Artist using trial and error as her greatest teacher.
Throughout the years she developed her own style by commitment and perseverance knowing that one day her own true style would surface. Danielle enjoys every minute of her work as each new baby is an expression of her passion. The challenge for her is to capture the innocence of childhood and sculpt and paint her babies as realistic as she can. She loves knowing that she is creating these special moments and expressions as we can now cherish a lifetime. |
