It is the cleanest, smoothest, almost lint-free thread on the market. Cotton Mako can be used for a wide variety of your sewing, quilting, embroidering and serging projects. Cotton Mako is excellent for all your hand piecing, quilting and applique projects, too. Cotton Mako can be used in all home and commercial embroidering and quilting machines. A wonderful feature of Aurifil thread is their locking spool cap. Twist and pull off end cap to find thread tail. Replace the cap on the spool before sewing. When you’re finished sewing remove the cap, wrap thread tail around core and replace cap to hold the thread tail. No more loose ends!
