Beginning Quilting
In beginning quilt-making, you learn how to use basic quilting tools, such as a rotary cutter, mat and ruler to cut fabric into small pieces and then arrange those pieces and sew them together to create a quilt block. Once you have a number of blocks sewn, you arrange them in a pleasing format and sew them together to create a quilt top. Then you add a border or two and prepare a backing. You can choose to leave your quilt for quilting on the long-arm, or quilt it yourself at home. The last class involves trimming the quilt and making and sewing on the binding. Once you have completed this class, you should have the basic knowledge to begin making quilts on your own. There are 4 classes in this series - Dates: Wednesday, June 12, 19, 26 and July,10 Time: 10AM-12:30PM Instructor: Margaret Taylor

Price: $60.00 4 sessions
