Thread sketching is a great way to add a touch of creativity to your projects. With just a little practice, you can create beautiful artwork with your machine. This class is great for anyone who wants to try their hand at thread sketching or who wants to improve their free-motion quilting skills. We'll start by discussing machine set-up and doing some practice sketching techniques. Once you are comfortable with sketching by machine, you'll move on to sketching some simple leaf shapes. Then we'll add fused applique to the mix and you'll have a beautiful sketched pieced of art! We'll have samples to show you how you can incorporate your new thread sketching technique into a variety of sewing projects.
