Did you know there are at least 5 different ways to make Flying Geese units?!? This versatile block can be used in any number of ways to enhance your piecing. Add flying geese to other units to create stars or use them alone for intriguing blocks and interesting pieced borders. Practice the various techniques and pick the one that works best for you!


 

Supply List:
Rotary cutter and self-healing mat (mats available at the shop during class) Acrylic rulers recommend: 6 x 24", 6 1/2" square, and 12 1/2" square Sewing scissors/snips Pins and pincushion or container Seam ripper Neutral sewing thread to blend with fabric
Sewing machine (bring instruction book and accessories)
Quarter inch foot for sewing machine (if you have one)
Iron & ironing board/mat (available at the shop during class)

Fabric Requirements:
1 yard background fabric
2-3 coordinating fat quarters
